During the Phoenix Society’s UBelong program, part of the Phoenix Society’s annual World Burn Congress, we tapped into our creativity when we made wearable art out of recycled materials. From the “lazy man’s umbrella” to a line of purses made of gold, we were able to proudly use our STEPS skills to share with each other what we made.

The Phoenix Society’s World Burn Congress is an annual conference involving burn survivors, health care professionals, firefighters, and anyone affected by a burn injury. The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors is the only national nonprofit that provides the tools and resources to help burn survivors get back to living.
